A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to do my second ever newborn photo shoot. Nothing like diving head first in to this whole photography thing by attempting to photograph twin boys! I read up on all the tips (which I did for Danica’s shoot too), but had no idea what to expect. I brought a space heater which had been recommended by others, and a few of my own props, as well as scavenging through Becky’s house.
Brian was a bit skeptical when I showed him a print out of some of the shots I wanted to attempt. I believe his actual words were, “good luck with that.” And “there’s no way Dylan will do that, but we can try.” Ok, so he was mostly right. Dylan wasn’t too interested in what we were asking him to do. His brother, Colton, was a rockstar. He slept the entire time. Well, except when we tried to put him in a bucket, but even then, he got over it pretty quickly. Dylan, not so much. Put me in a bucket, huh? I’ll show you, lady….
Fortunately, these amazing parents were able to keep the boys calm and happy enough for this novice photographer to get a few good shots. Here are a few of my favorites, followed by a link to a Picasa slideshow and a video of the rest.
I look forward to the opportunities to photograph these precious, sweet boys throughout their life. I feel so fortunate to have Becky and Brian as friends, and I can’t wait to watch these boys grow. Thanks, Bradley Bunch, for humoring me through this experience! And can you believe it….about an hour with two BOYS with no diapers and there was NO mess!
Which one is your favorite? Need more choices? Check out the slideshow!
And if you need a little music while you view these sweet babes, check out this video slideshow! Sorry, the quality of the video isn't great since I had to make it small enough to upload to this site. If you would like the full quality version, Becky and Brian have a copy and I do as well, and we can email it to you.
